Mappa Coaching & mentoring

In a context characterized by constant change, people are increasingly required to demonstrate higher levels of responsibility, autonomy, and flexibility. In response to these needs, mentoring has become a structured and widespread process across the entire organization, offering a valuable opportunity to exchange managerial best practices and engage with recognized role models.


The programme promotes mentoring relationships between managers and professionals from different organizational areas, helping facilitate cross-functional integration across departments and between headquarters and local operations. Mentoring also encourages the development of a broader organizational perspective, fostering cross-fertilization and intergenerational exchange.

The Blooming Programme

Through the Blooming Programme, we support the development of Group talent through a pathway aimed at enhancing soft skills, fostering intergenerational exchange, broadening perspectives and professional relationships, and strengthening a leadership approach capable of addressing complexity, valuing people, and promoting a culture focused on innovation, inclusion, and responsibility, in line with the Company’s vision and values.

Each year, the Blooming Programme involves a selected group of individuals who stand out for their aptitudes, capabilities, and performance, offering them highly personalized activities and experiences. The pathways are designed to provide direct exposure to stimulating and challenging contexts, processes, and environments that encourage learning and self-awareness.

Among the experiences offered, job shadowing allows participants to work alongside colleagues in different roles, providing the opportunity to observe different working styles while gaining deeper insight into new processes. Tutoring, also based on a shadowing approach, helps accelerate the development of technical skills and operational expertise related to participants’ areas of specialization.

The Blooming Programme also includes participation in experiential workshops designed in line with the “5 I’s” of Poste Italiane’s new Leadership Model. These workshops are real training environments focused on soft skills, where concrete case studies and simulations inspired by real-life situations allow participants to test themselves in complex, real-world scenarios.

Through coaching, the Blooming Programme also provides talents with a powerful accelerator to help them achieve their individual goals, while training offers structured learning sessions designed to equip them with personal and professional tools that support continuous growth and the pursuit of new objectives.

The INSIEME Project

INSIEME is our platform for collecting ideas and contributions from all Group employees. Through it, we encourage spontaneous contributions to the Company’s purpose and strategy through innovative and improvement proposals, ranging from small-scale initiatives to transformative ideas, following a bottom‑up approach.

The objective is to continuously innovate in a sustainable way, by engaging different areas of the organization in a cross-functional manner, in line with responsible growth, digitalization, and social cohesion, while fostering proactivity and continuous improvement.

Through INSIEME, it is possible to submit, for each area, innovative ideas with an impact on the company and its stakeholders, or to contribute your skills to help drive change.

For this reason, every year we promote engagement and innovation initiatives such as Poste Innovation Jam, a series of internal hackathons and datathons, that enable people to work together on challenging projects, unlocking potential and expanding know-how.

Poste Innovation Jam allows participants to:

  • train, learn, and grow in a “low-risk” environment
  • acquire new technical skills and strengthen their soft skills
  • broaden their experience across different areas by turning ideas into action
