Since 2024, the Poste Italiane Group has screened over 1,000 national and international startups. These companies were identified through global market scouting, interactions with industry operators such as Venture Capital funds, accelerators, and incubators, as well as participation in national and international Open Innovation programs with which Poste Italiane has signed collaboration agreements.

Out of these startups, 480 were analyzed in detail and deemed of potential interest to the Group's Business Units

Of the above-mentioned start-ups, over 550 were deemed of potential interest to the Business Units. ​

More than 50 companies have emerged from this rigorous process and have been the subject of active collaboration, some with acquisitions and equity participation such as Scalapay, Sennder, Tink and Milkman.

Scouting and dealflow

Matching between internal business needs and best solutions in terms of startups and innovative companies. Rigorous selection and qualification process.

Trial & Testing

Internal testing and trial of innovative technological solutions with startups.

Co-Creation & Creative Program

Evangelization and change management not only for employees through the organization of Challanges and Creative Programs.

Open Innovation Programs

Participation in national and international multi-corporate Open Innovation Programs. 

Partner Ecosystem

Creation of an ecosystem of partnerships for the transfer of skills and technologies with Universities, Venture Capital Funds and Incubators.

Corporate Co-Innovation

Development of Innovation initiatives with other Corporates on technological shared issues.
