Salvatore Muscarella

Born in Vallelunga Pratameno (CL) in 1959.

He holds a degree in Business Economics.

Since 2008, Mr. Muscarella has served as General Secretary of the National Communications Federation (U.G.L. Comunicazioni), a representative trade union organization comprising six union categories within the Unione Generale del Lavoro confederation system. He is also a member of the U.G.L. National Confederation Council and a member of the U.G.L. Confederation Committee. From 2018 to 2020, he also served as U.G.L. Confederation Secretary, responsible for major industrial and corporate crises.

From 2013 to 2022, Mr. Muscarella served a member of the INAIL (National Institute for Insurance against Accidents at Work) Steering and Supervisory Board, the body responsible for defining and overseeing the institution's political and administrative direction, including its budget.Since 2023, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Fondo Poste, a supplementary pension fund for employees of the Poste Italiane group and its subsidiaries that apply the national collective bargaining agreement.

He was also a member of the Board of Directors of PreviLavoro Italia (National Inter-sectoral Fund for Supplementary Healthcare) and a Director with the role of Vice President of FondoLavoro (National Inter-professional Joint Fund for the Continuing Education of Micro, Small, Medium, and Large Enterprises).

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Poste Italiane since April 27, 2026.
