Information on accessibility and compatibility features
Poste Italiane's websites and apps are designed to be compatible with the following most extensively used assistive technologies:
The accessibility of the sites and apps is based on the following technical specifications that enable operation with the particular combination of browser and any assistive technologies or plug-ins installed on your computer or smartphone:
- the latest versions of the browsers Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari;
- in combination with the latest versions of NVDA, Jaws, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
The accessibility of the sites and apps is based on the following technical specifications that enable operation with the particular combination of browser and any assistive technologies or plug-ins installed on your computer or smartphone:
- HTML;
- WAI-ARIA;
- CSS;
- JavaScript.
What is meant by “accessibility”
As indicated in Law no. 4 of 9 January 2004, as subsequently amended and supplemented, “Accessibility” means “the ability of information systems, including websites and mobile applications, in the forms and to the extent permitted by technological knowledge, to deliver services and provide information usable, without discrimination, even by those who, due to disabilities, require assistive technologies or special configurations”.
How to make a report
Anyone with an interest may report any non-compliance of Poste Italiane's websites and mobile applications with accessibility principles.
For reports to be effective, inaccessibility situations must be indicated by describing the problem and identifying, as precisely as possible, the part of the website or mobile application affected.
The report should be sent to the following dedicated e-mail address: accessibilita@posteitaliane.it
The following information should be included in the report:
Any requests not related to Accessibility issues (e.g. technical or commercial problems such as password reset, line drop, unsubscribable offer) should be sent to the Assistance section.

- first and last name of the person making the report;
- url of the web page reported or the app function for which accessibility principles were found to be not compliant (if technical or commercial problems were found, such as password reset, line drop, unsubscribable offer, the report should be made in the Assistance section;
- a clear and concise description of the problem encountered;
- tools used for browsing;
- device used (smartphone, pc, tablet, laptop-PC);
- operating system used (Windows, Linux, Mac OS);
- browser used (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera);
- assistive technologies used (Jaws, Chrome Vox, ToVoice, Nvda, Google Talk, etc.), if possible also specifying the version.
