Poste Italiane has been listed on the Milan Stock Exchange since October 27, 2015. The share capital has been entirely subscribed to and paid in, and amounts to 1,306,110,000.00 euro divided into shares with a face value of one euro each. The share capital has remained unchanged.

On February 28, 1998, the date on which the Poste Italiane SpA was established, its share capital was Lire 2,561,000,000,000, comprised of 2,561,000,000 shares with nominal value of Lire 1,000 each, held entirely by the Ministry of Economics and Finance. 

On April 4, 2001, the Board of Directors approved the conversion into Euro of the Company’s share capital, of €1,306,110,000.00 comprised of 2,561,000,000 ordinary shares having a nominal value of €0.51, and destining the difference deriving from the conversion (€16,536,000), to specifically established reserves. Following the regrouping approved by the extraordinary shareholders’ meeting held on May 14, 2007, the share capital amounted to €1,306,110,000.00, comprised of 1,306,110,000 shares with a nominal value of €1.00.

On July 31, 2015, the Company’s extraordinary shareholders’ meeting resolved to eliminate the indication of the par value of the Shares. 

Over the last eleven years (respectively closed on December 31, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,2022), the Company’s share capital has remained unchanged.

As of today, the Company holds no. 5,257,965 own shares, representing 0.4026% of the Company’s share capital.
