Poste Italiane: even greater leader in sustainability for Moody's Analytics and Morgan Stanley The Group led by CEO Matteo Del Fante is in the Advanced category by Moody's for the second year, improving its score in the ESG overall score, and also confirms double A in the MSCI rating.

Poste Italiane confirms its leadership in ESG policies by obtaining for the second consecutive year the Advanced category in the ESG overall score of Moody’s Analytics, with a score of 79 points out of 100, two more than the rating of the previous edition. Poste Italiane also consolidated an AA rating from Morgan Stanley International Capital (MSCI).
 
Moody's Analytics examines 38 ESG evaluation criteria and assesses the sustainability performance of companies based on specific environmental, social, and governance criteria, measuring their resilience in managing risks and opportunities related to each of the sustainability dimensions. The rating agency rated Poste Italiane Group positively for the Company's strong commitment to integrating ESG risk analysis into due diligence and the investment process, and for the capacity to manage environmental risk in terms of programmes, actions and targets aimed at reducing GHG emissions. The Group has also been awarded for the use of a solid employee engagement strategy, aimed at attracting new talent and retaining its resources, and for the implementation of robust data protection processes, including external certifications obtained and compliance programs initiated.

With regard to Morgan Stanley Capital International, the company judged the performance of the Poste Italiane Group to be well above the sector averages in each of the three ESG dimensions (environmental, social and corporate governance), with a particular distinction for the results achieved in the field of governance. Morgan Stanley Capital International is one of the leading rating agencies.

Moody’s Analytics and MSCI ratings adds to other numerous recognitions obtained by Poste Italiane, which is included in the most prestigious international sustainability indices, including Dow Jones Indices, Integrated Governance Index, Euronext Equileap Gender Equality Eurozone 100, FTSE4Good, Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index and Stoxx Global ESG Leaders. The positive evaluations obtained by agencies such as CDP, Sustainalytics and the "Top 5% S&P Global ESG Score 2022" of the Sustainability Yearbook 2023 confirmed the Group’s commitment to sustainability. In addition, the Group maintained its position at the top of the ESG GLOBAL SCORE of the MIB® ESG launched in 2021 by Euronext and Borsa Italiana, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to responsible and sustainable management
