Open Italy Elis Open Italy is the Open Innovation program that fosters dialogue and collaboration between large companies, Italian startups, young talents, innovative SMEs, research centers, university spin-offs.

Poste Italiane also joined the OPEN ITALY 2022 program this year, in its sixth edition, which sees the alliance of 60 large Italian companies created to collect and support the innovative potential of startups.

The goal of Open Italy is to identify startups and innovative SMEs that will have the opportunity to develop a project that corresponds to a specific need of the large companies that support the program.

Three main reasons led Poste Italiane to accept the challenge of co-innovation:
- the multi-corporate context that allows comparison between the main large Italian companies;
- the possibility of accessing a structured startup dealflow, divided by sector, industry and technology, allowing the involvement of different Business Units;
- the opportunity to carry out concrete experiments with startups.
