Poste Italiane obtains a rating of "A" from Morgan Stanley Capital International The Group led by Matteo Del Fante confirms its leadership positioning in ESG indices, obtaining further recognition from renowned rating agency MSCI for the sustainability strategies adopted by the Company.

Poste Italiane receives the rating of "A" by MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International), one of the main assessment agencies of corporate sustainability-related performances based on specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, which collaborates with 97 of the 100 largest asset managers globally. The "A" rating assigned by MSCI shows a clear improvement over the "BBB" level assigned a few months earlier by the prestigious ESG research institution.
 
The analysis carried out by MSCI is conducted on 8,500 companies and over 680,000 equity and fixed income securities globally. The important recognition is the result of a rigorous assessment based on specific criteria that assess the resilience of companies in managing ESG risks and opportunities.
 
Poste Italiane has been awarded for its achievements in the field of labor management, with the adoption of standards covering important provisions on human rights in the Group’s policies, and the subscriptions to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and the Women Empowerment Principles (WEP). In addition, the Company was valued for the responsible management of its investments, for its privacy and information security policies and for its climate strategy.

This goal is in line with the Company’s entry into other sustainability indices and with the strategic objectives defined in the ESG Plan. Along this path, Poste Italiane, aims at positioning itself as a safe reference point for its investors."
 
The MSCI rating adds to the achievements obtained by Poste Italiane including entry into the main sustainability indices of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, FTSE4Good, Integrated Governance Index, Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, confirming a pattern that aims at the constant integration of sustainability principles into the Company’s business strategies.
 
In addition, following the annual assessment carried out by the prestigious rating agency Vigeo Eiris, Poste Italiane confirms the third place at European level in the evaluation of its ESG performances within the "Transports and Logistics" sector and ranks 47° worldwide. The evaluation restates Poste Italiane’s positioning in the Euronext Vigeo-Eiris World 120 index and in the regional indices Euronext Vigeo Eurozone 120 and Europe 120.
